Castor Éternel opens with an all-natural, spiced herbaceous accord: shimmering frankincense, bitter bay leaf, golden saffron, earthy clary sage, pink pepper, allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon bark, lush davana, and green tarragon.
Then comes the heart—Rose Otto, Jasmine Absolute, Heliotropin, and Violet Leaf Absolute—delicate florals that ghost through the composition.
Anchored by smoky cedar, and the nostalgic animal, masculine purr of vintage Musk Ketone, the drydown settles into a sensual second skin—dark, elegant, smooth and classic.

I managed my families "Meleg's Orchard," in a small south Ontario town until I was 25. The orchard started with Sam Meleg, a Slovak from the Provence of Vojvodina, former Kingdom of Serbia of the Austro Hungarian Empire. My work ethic, self deprecating humour and stubborn nature is reflective of my Slovak, peasant roots.
Here my cousins are laying crops into the "apple bin." My wooden perfume box is meant to represent apple bins. Be they rose, vetiver or jasmine farmers. Be they from India, Mexico, Canada or Iran - Meleg Perfumes celebrates farmers and artisans of all nations.
